Make a Gift
Gifts are received by the Arc of Steuben Foundation, unless a gift is designated for a specific program or need. Each year a portion of funds received over the past year are deposited into the Endowment. The endowment is intended as a last resort when funding is inadequate to continue providing services.
The Foundation has a grants program that funds projects and needs that have no other means of funding.
Examples of completed grants include:
- carbon monoxide detectors for all of our homes
- defibrillators
- uniforms for the Cafe staff
- uniforms for the Color Guard
- a Hoyer lift
- special training for associates (staff)
- Special Olympics activities
Additionally, the Foundation offers the Wish Upon an Arc Star program that grants life-changing wishes to people supported by the Arc of Steuben.
