Improving Services with Your Support
The Americans with Disabilities Act in 1990 helped to generate unprecedented growth in the demand for the Arc of Steuben services by an average 16% annually during the 1990's. This forced the Arc to relocate programs and Arc associates to five off-site locations. This situation creates internal programmatic inefficiencies and hinders quick and efficient delivery of services for the people and families we support. We believe the best way toward reaching our goal of community integration is to bring all of the Arc's services under one roof.
