What is LEED certification?
LEEDT stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, otherwise known as "green" construction. The expansion of our Bath facility will be the first LEEDT certified office building in Steuben county and one of the first human service organizations to build green in the nation. The certification process is rigorous and includes such stipulations as using recycled building material. It also must meet strict design codes to make the building highly energy efficient.
